An Afternoon of Showstoppers and Chart Toppers — in support of Life Education East Midlands

We are calling on our schools, families, friends and local community to come together for a joyful afternoon of music, celebration and purpose as Life Education East Midlands brings Showstoppers and Chart Toppers to the iconic Nottingham Contemporary.
Featuring the wonderful Carlton Male Voice Choir, with a special guest appearance from Amplify, this promises to be an uplifting charity concert packed with much-loved pop and musical theatre classics.
Join us on Sunday 20th September 2026 at Nottingham Contemporary, Weekday Cross, Nottingham NG1 2GB, from 14.30, and help fill the venue with energy, applause and support for a cause that makes a real difference to children across our region.
Life Education East Midlands has been supporting schools and children for over 30 years, delivering engaging health and wellbeing education that helps young people build confidence, resilience and the knowledge to make safe, positive choices. Through memorable, age-appropriate workshops, including the much-loved Harold the Giraffe, the charity tackles issues that matter to children today, from mental wellbeing and healthy relationships to online safety, vaping, drugs and alcohol awareness.
Every ticket sold will help Life Education East Midlands continue reaching children in schools across Nottinghamshire and the wider East Midlands, giving them the skills, confidence and support they need to thrive.
Early bird tickets are available for just £8 excluding booking fee, so please book your seat, bring your family and friends, and help us make this an afternoon to remember.

Harold’s new home delivers the ‘wow factor’ to children and is better for the environment. Life Space is a square, pop-up classroom structure (3.8m x 3.8m with a height of 2.3m), that can go in a school hall or classroom. We’ve worked with industry experts, teachers and our own educators to design a modern, portable pop-up classroom that offers an exciting, stimulating and memorable environment for children to experience our Educator-led workshops. If you’d like the Life Space to visit your school, please do not hesitate to contact us.
